The following items are required for processing Isofin:

PREPARATION

Drill
Marker
Measuring tape
Mortar
Filler
Protective equipment

Step 1:

Create borehole

Diameter of the drill holes 12 mm. Position the drill bit approx. 10-15 cm above the floor, drill at an angle downwards (approx. 45°). End of the drill hole approx. in the middle of the wall and approx. 10 cm below floor level. Depending on the humidity, drill into the wall at the specified intervals **.

Step 2:

Positioning bottles

First, the bottle cap must be replaced with the injection cap. Then insert each bottle into the drilled hole. Depending on the wall thickness, allow the required amount of Isofin to run into the wall. The entire bottle content is sufficient for a wall with a thickness of 38 cm. For thinner walls, part of the bottle content is sufficient. The bottle therefore has a wall thickness scale on the side.

Step 3:

Close drill holes

Once the bottles have run empty or the required amount of Isofin has been delivered to the wall, remove the bottle from the drill hole. Seal the drill hole with some mortar.

*Drill hole spacing:

Lateral and vertical drill hole spacing 25 cm. The distance of the first drill hole from the wall corner should be 10-12 cm.

Bear in mind that a larger cross-sectional area must be impregnated in masonry corners. Depending on the wall thickness, it is essential to drill 1-2 holes and bottles in the corner!
*Exception for concrete walls
