Do I need needles or do I have to drill?
No. The measurement is carried out non-destructively directly on the wall surface - without needles, probes or drilling.
Suitable for which walls?
For all mineral building materials such as brick, sand-lime brick, concrete, natural stone, aerated concrete or screed. Not suitable for metal.
How does the device display the humidity?
In so-called digits - the higher the value, the more humid the wall is. This allows you to clearly see over months whether the humidity is decreasing.
How often should I measure?
It is best to do this before the Isofin treatment so that you have a baseline value. Then every few months to check the drying progress. The first improvements can often be measured after around 8-12 weeks.
How long does it take to dry completely?
This depends heavily on the building material, the moisture penetration and the ventilation. A damp wall is usually not dry in just a few days, as the moisture has often penetrated over many months or years. Accordingly, it can also take several weeks to months for the wall to dry out completely. It is important to ventilate regularly and keep the humidity in the room as low as possible - this significantly speeds up the drying process.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, you have a 3-year manufacturer's warranty on the measuring device.
